59 new cases of coronavirus were confirmed in occupied Abkhazia in the last 24 hours, - local media reports.

According to media reports, the total number of confirmed cases in occupied Abkhazia amounts to 1,054, while the number of recoveries stands at 311. 7 people have died of coronavirus in the occupied region.

"The total number of confirmed cases of coronavirus during the entire period of the pandemic has exceeded one thousand. 59 cases of COVID-19 infection were reported in the last day", - reads the information.
