According to Marina Endeladze, representative of the Infectious Diseases Hospital, out of 227 new cases, 165 were confirmed in Adjara and 34 in Tbilisi.

According to her, Adjara is still leading in the number of new cases.

"165 cases were detected in Adjara, 34 in Tbilisi, 4 in Rustavi, 14 in Imereti, 4 in Guria, 1 in Dusheti and 2 in Zugdidi," Endeladze said.

The number of infected people has reached 4140 in Georgia. The virus has killed 24 people in the country.
