Director of Batumi Republican Hospital, Solomon Putkaradze has tested positive for coronavirus.

As he told reporters, he is under treatment at home, because he has no symptoms characteristic of the virus. He rules out that he was infected at the clinic.

"A few days ago I had contact with a relative who was diagnosed with the virus. I tested for the virus as soon as I was informed of his infection, last Thursday, and my test result turned out to be positive. After undergoing all relevant examinations, I continue treatment at home as I have no symptoms at all”, said the director.
