Man dies in Telavi quarantine zone

Kakheti Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, has launched investigation under the article 115 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, regarding the death of a person in Telavi quarantine zone, - reports the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

"Investigation at this point established that personnel of one of the hotels in Telavi, where the quarantine zone is arranged due to COVID-19 pandemic, found the body of G.G. (DoB 1991). The mentioned person returned from France to Georgia on September 24 and was accommodated in one of the hotels in Telavi.

The deceased person’s body has been transferred for the forensic study.

Investigation is in progress on the fact of 115 envisaged under the Criminal Code of Georgia", - reads the statement.
