Mikheil Saakashvili denies reports about assault

The third President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili responds to the information spread by the Ukrainian edition Starana on its Facebook page and denies any attack on him.

According to the ex-president, the person mentioned by Starana just wanted his autograph.

"In fact, the man came with a pen just for an autograph. This is the whole story," Saakashvili said.

Mikheil Saakashvili's press secretary also denied reports about the attack.

Starana reported earlier this evening that Mikheil Saakashvili was attacked at one of the restaurants in Kiev.
