Nikol Pashinyan: If we do not want this conflict to escalate further, the international community must recognize the independence of Nagorno-Karabakh

"Our position has not changed, the Karabakh issue should not be resolved through violence", - Armenian Prime Minister, Nikol Pashinyan, stated in an interview with Euronews.
"Our position has not changed, the Karabakh issue should not be resolved through violence. No solution can be found through violence. However, the policy of Azerbaijan is to resolve the Karabakh issue by force. Armenia was always ready to compromise. Azerbaijan is a party that does not want any compromise. The solution for them is for the Karabakh Armenians to resettle. They want to take Karabakh through ethnic cleansing", - Pashinyan said.
According to him, international terrorists are involved in the genocide against Armenians.
"International terrorists are involved in the genocide today. They were brought to the region by Turkey. They are fighting on the side of Azerbaijan. Therefore, I want to emphasize: if we want to stop a humanitarian catastrophe, if we do not want this conflict to escalate further, the international community must recognize the independence of Nagorno-Karabakh", - stressed Pashynian.
