Ekaterine Tikaradze: We do not think that there is a shortage of beds in the country

We do not think that there is a shortage of beds in the country, - Minister of Health Ekaterine Tikaradze said at the briefing held at the governmental administration.

According to her, 4392 beds are mobilized today and additional clinics are being gradually involved in the process.

"As for the Covid centers, at this stage we have 2992 patients in hospitals and a large part of them will be discharged today. As of today we have 4392 beds mobilized. Important measures have been taken by us. In particular, 4 clinics will be involved in the process in the coming days in Tbilisi, 3 clinics - in Shida Kartli region and 3 - in Imereti region. Therefore, we do not think we have a shortage of beds. You know that we also use the hotel space," Tikaradze said.
