According to Aliyev, the fact that Georgia is a christian country and Azerbaijan is a muslim one does not change anything.

"We have excellent relations with Georgia. We call each other strategic partners. A format of trilateral cooperation has been established between Turkey, Georgia and Azerbaijan. Our relations with Georgia is a good example of good neighborhood. The fact that Georgia is christian and Azerbaijan is muslim does make any difference. We do not look at the region from this point of view", - Ilham Aliyev said.
