Kakha Kaladze instructs the Head of the Municipal Inspection to settle the issue of seizing state lands and to dismantle the buildings on these locations

Mayor Kakha Kaladze instructed the Head of the Municipal Inspection, Levan Jgharkava, to settle the issue of arbitrary seizure of municipal and state lands in Tbilisi and to dismantle the buildings on these locations in order to eliminate the problem.

"There are many cases in the capital where the seizure of municipal and state lands is illegal, which is categorically unacceptable and we will not allow it under any circumstances. This has already become systematic and we have many such cases. I want to instruct the Head of the Municipal Inspection, Levan Jgharkava, to take actions from today. I already know that you have given warnings to several specific locations and asked them to dismantle the small buildings they have built themselves, if this is not done, you can go and dismantle it yourself. This illegality is categorically unacceptable. The municipal property is neither mine nor yours, it's the state's. We should not give anyone the right and opportunity to seize it all. What do we say to people who act in good faith and obey the law?! Therefore, this attitude is categorically unacceptable and take actions from today. You can involve the Ministry of Internal Affairs in this, I have had consultations with the Minister and you will have all the support and assistance to end this impropriety in the capital", - said Kakha Kaladze.
