Paata Imnadze: We may currently have up to 10 thousand infected people a day

We may currently have up to 10 thousand infected people a day, - Paata Imnadze, Deputy Director of the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health said at today's briefing.

As Imnadze noted, after the restrictions are imposed in the country, the number of infected people will not increase.

"After the restrictions, we will not be waiting for fewer numbers, but the number of infected people not to increase any longer", - Imnadze said.

Imnadze also confirmed the information that Georgia is at the peak in terms of the spread of coronavirus.

"One of the perfidies of this disease is that it is characterized by asymptomatic course, as well as very few symptoms in a large number of people who do not visit a medical facility to be examined at all", - stressed Imnadze.
