In Batumi, the employees of the fitness center "Reformer" are still staying and are not going to leave the building. As the administration of the fitness center told InterPressNews, they are waiting for a specific explanation from the relevant agencies about why they should stop their activities. According to them, the law enforcers sealed the exercise equipment.

"The training center is closed, but we will stay here until the normal regulations are adopted. When 30 people were infected with the coronavirus - strict regulations were passed, today more than 3,000 people are infected and this decision of the government will no longer bring any results. If a logical result follows, then we will obey. We are waiting for explanations, we are not going to leave the building before that. We are not only fighting the virus, we will be unemployed because of these restrictions. We need income. We are here with 18 employees of the fitness center and also with Zurab Japaridze. We spent the whole night here, waiting for an explanation as to why the fitness center should be closed. Now we are waiting for an adequate answer about what they ar going to do with us, we are not going to obey them", - the administration staff said.

The fitness center "Reformer" in Batumi was fined 10,000 GEL for disobeying the government's decision. However, the administration did not cease its activities. On November 29, the leader of Girchi Zurab Japaridze arrived in Batumi. According to him, he rented the fitness center "Reformer Fitness" located in Batumi as a house after the Labor Inspectorate fined the facility for prohibited economic activities. As the leader of Girchi explained on the social network, he made an oral agreement with the gym and those who wanted to work out could visit the house. Later on the police carried out investigative actions in "Reformer Fitness". Representatives of various political parties gathered in the vicinity of the fitness center. Police arrested one person but later released him.
