4 people were detained during the opposition rally near the building of the Supreme Council of Adjara.
The protesters climbed the fence of the legislature building and tried to put up stickers. The detainees have been transferred to the department due to an administrative violation.
"Four protesters have been detained. They tried to climb the fence and despite numerous calls from the government special service to come down from the fence, they did not obey. Police in the area also called on them to obey the lawful request of the police and come down from the fence, but they didn't follow the request. They were detained according to the administrative rules”, - said Kote Ananiashvili, head of the Adjara Police Department.
For their part, the demonstrators say they are not going to stop the protest and express solidarity with the detainees.
