Caucasian Metal Terminal allocated 1000 GEL as a bonus for all 250 employees for the New Year

Despite the global pandemic, Caucasian Metals Terminal, exported up to half a million tons of cargo in 2020, and according to these data, is the leader in the export market.

According to CMT representatives, similar to other companies, 2020 was full of challenges for them, but the solidarity and professionalism of the team helped the company to overcome the crisis easily.

According to them, the company has also contributed to the fight against coronavirus and, given the economic and social situation in the country, the Caucasian Metal Terminal has provided assistance to many families.

"As part of its corporate social responsibility, the company has helped many families affected by the global pandemic and provided them with food and necessities. In April of this year, according to the decision of Georgian and foreign founders, the company transferred 100,000 GEL to the Coronavirus Fund, and on New Year's Eve, all employees were given equal 1000 GEL as a bonus, thus expressing gratitude for the outstanding team in a particularly difficult period. Caucasus Metal Terminal carried out all of the above activities through the founding Austrian-Swiss company Industrial Minerals SA. For information, Caucasian Metals Terminal was founded in 2011 in Poti and currently it's one of the driving forces of the Georgian economy. The main activity of the company is the import and export of copper concentrate. As of 2020, the Caucasian Metals Terminal employs 250 people.
