A 22-year-old girl died of coronavirus in Batumi. According to the Batumi International University Hospital, the young woman was admitted to the clinic on December 12, she was suffering from bilateral pneumonia.

According to the clinic, the patient's condition worsened in recent days and she could not be saved.

"When she was admitted to the clinic on December 12, she already had a high index of lung damage. The condition further worsened in a few days. Doctors were constantly consulting leading doctors both within the country and abroad. Unfortunately, she died today at 12:00," the clinic said.
