Minister of Health: Today's data gives us grounds to confirm that there is a significant decrease in infection rate

According to the Minister of Health Ekaterine Tikaradze, the Interagency Coordination Council is discussing the partial easing of restrictions imposed for the prevention of coronavirus and additional decisions are expected to be announced this week.

"We are discussing the easing with the economic team in the council format. This week we will make an additional decision and introduce it to the public in a council decision format. As for the current epidemic situation, the current data gives us grounds to confirm that there is a significant decrease in infection rate. Today, 3499 people are being treated at the hospitals, in total there are more than 10 thousand active cases. Doctors are successfully managing the process", - Tikaradze said.
