Regular flights will be resumed in all directions from February, - Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Natia Turnava said after the meeting of the Interagency Coordination Council.

According to her, flights will be carried out in accordance with the rules of all medical protocols.

"We have considered it possible to lift restrictions on regular flights from February 1. This means that all airlines that have operated and continue to operate in Georgia, or even new airlines that wish to enter Georgia, will be able to schedule and operate regular flights at certain frequencies. Of course, this will be done in compliance with all medical protocols and safety rules. Many airlines around the world already do this. Therefore, we think that this will not pose any additional threat," Turnava said.
