So-called South Ossetia's de facto security committee accuses Georgian side of taking steps that increase tensions between parties

So-called South Ossetia's de facto security committee has released information on border violations, according to which, the Georgian side continues to take steps that increase tensions between the parties.

The de facto committee says that Georgian law enforcement agencies are ordering saboteurs to create a real threat of escalation of conflict.

To prove the above, the de facto agency provided several examples of border violations, including the fact that a Georgian policeman crossed into the territory controlled by the occupied regime on February 3, while on February 7, the so-called guards noticed another violation near the settlement of Uista.

"Against this background, the KGB has noticed another constructive step by the patriotic Georgian non-governmental organization, which monitors the border and informs the Georgian public about the existence of a border between Georgia and South Ossetia. At the initiative of Davit Katsarava, a rally is scheduled for February 13 in the village of Akhmaji, during which he intends to mark the dividing line of the state border. Such action by civil activists will allow us to achieve the proper level of awareness of the Georgian population in the long run, this will reduce violations at the state border and increase the level of responsibility of the Georgian society for violating the border legislation of South Ossetia," reads the statement of the de facto agency.
