Rally ongoing in front of Skhvilo Fortress demanding release citizens detained by occupiers

A rally is being held in front of the Skhvilo Fortress for the purpose of achieving the release of citizens detained by occupiers. Representatives of the anti-occupation movement Power in Unity gathered at the First Republic Square and held a protest march.

According to Davit Katsarava, one of the organizers of the rally, the society should be active to release the detained citizens. According to him, the government, through the international community, should put pressure on the occupying country to release Georgian citizens peacefully.

Doctor Vazha Gaprindashvili is also present at the rally, who said that the problem should be shared by the state and society.
