With the management carried out by the LEPL Educational and Scientific Infrastructure Development Agency of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Georgia, all public schools in Georgia are equipped with the necessary resources for virus prevention. As the Ministry of Education informed InterPressNews, the schools have enough supplies for the whole school year.

"Disinfectant solutions, thermoscreening devices, disinfection barriers were distributed in general education institutions. The toilets are organized and in order in the schools, the sanitary-hygienic norms are strictly observed, all the recommendations of the Ministry are fulfilled.

The schools intensively inform the parents about the recommendations developed by the Ministry, the organization of the educational process and the sanitary-hygienic norms in the school.

Protecting the safety of students and at the same time ensuring their access to quality education is one of the main priorities of the Government of Georgia and the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports.

Every decision made by the state regarding the educational process in the conditions of a pandemic, including target restrictions, is made taking into account these very circumstances", - the Ministry said in a statement.
