Occupied Abkhazia reports 47 new cases of coronavirus

47 new cases of coronavirus were confirmed in occupied Abkhazia in the last 24 hours, - the local media reported based on the so-called operational headquarters.

According to them, 230 people were tested for coronavirus during the last day. Covid-19 has claimed a life of one person in the occupied region.

In occupied Abkhazia, a total of 12,106 cases of coronavirus have been reported, of which 11,765 have recovered and 193 people have died.

Restrictions in occupied Abkhazia have been extended until March 10. However, kindergartens and primary school students have continued in-class education process from February 15; and from February 22, 5th-11th grade students will return to the classrooms.
