Rain and strong wind expected in Georgia from February 28 to March 1

Rain and strong wind are expected in Georgia (mainly in the western part of the country) from February 28 to March 1. It will be snowing in the highlands, fog and snowstorm are also forecast, and 2-3 magnitude storm at sea.

According to the National Environment Agency, the expected heavy rains may significantly increase water levels of the rivers of western Georgia, and contribute to the creation of avalanches in the mountainous areas of the country.
