Ministry of Internal Affairs appeals to National Movement to appoint a legal representative, who will be handed over equipment seized from UNM headquarters

The Ministry of Internal Affairs appeals to the United National Movement to appoint a legal representative, who they will hand over various equipment seized from the UNM headquarters on February 23. The Ministry of Internal Affairs spread a statement about the above.

“On February 23, 2021, the officers of the Central Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, within the framework of the investigation ongoing under Article 353, Part 2 of the Criminal Code, seized and sealed various equipment from the central offices of the United National Movement, as there was a risk of destroying evidence.

The court recognized the investigative actions as legal.

The officials of the Ministry of Internal Affairs informed the United National Movement that they had arrive at the Ministry to receive back the equipment seized from the party office, which they refused.

After that, the Ministry of Internal Affairs sent an official letter to the party and asked them to appoint a legal representative, who will be given the equipment," the Ministry of Internal Affairs says in its statement.
