Council of Europe President to meet with representatives of government and opposition parties of Georgia today

Council of Europe President Charles Michel, who is visiting Tbilisi, will start official meetings in Georgia from today.

Charles Michel will hold his first meeting with Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili this morning, after which their joint statements will be made for the press.

After that, the President of the European Council will visit the occupation line.

In addition, Charles Michel will open a new office of the EU Delegation in Tbilisi, where he will host and meet with leaders of opposition parties.

Meetings are also scheduled with Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Gharibashvili and Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia Archil Talakvadze.

Charles Michelle arrived in Georgia yesterday and will leave Tbilisi on March 2.
