European Council President reiterates strong support of the European Union for Georgia’s territorial integrity

"Unity is very important, unification around core values," European Council President Charles Michel said at a joint briefing after meeting with Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili.

As the President of the European Council said, he will visit the occupation line later today.

"We talked about conflicts. I would like to reiterate the strong support and assistance of the European Union for the territorial integrity of Georgia. In the afternoon, I will have the opportunity to visit the administrative demarcation line near the territory of "South Ossetia".

Another reminder for Georgia is that unity is very important, unification around core values. You can count on the EU involvement in this regard," said Charles Michel.
