Genadi Bestaev, illegally detained by the Russian occupation forces on November 21, 2019, was sentenced to 3 years in prison by the so-called court of occupied Tskhinvali region. The information was communicated by the State Security Service.

According to SSG, the occupation forces of the Russian Federation are fully responsible for the illegal detentions. Illegal arrests by the occupying forces will be strictly raised by the central government at the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism (IPRM) meeting scheduled for March 5 and the Geneva International Discussions.
