Badri Basishvili: The office of the "National Movement" was raided in Gori - inventory is damaged, windows are shattered

The office of the United National Movement was raided in Gori. As Badri Basishvili, a member of the United National Movement, told InterpressNews, windows are shattered and inventory has been damaged.

As Basishvili said, the party office was allegedly attacked by several people.

"As far as I know, it was a group attack, several people were involved. Most likely, they were Georgian Dream activists. This is the 6th fact since 2012, including the most frequent ones during Gharibashvili's term as Prime Minister. Gharibashvili has been appointed Prime Minister for several days now and we should probably expect similar processes to continue.

The inventory is damaged, the windows are shattered, as far as I know, several people have already been detained by the police", - Basishvili said.

The area is bordered with yellow tape and law enforcement officers are working on the spot. According to InterPressNews, three people have been arrested.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the investigation is underway under Article 187 of the Criminal Code, which stipulates damage or destruction of an item.
