Georgian police have prevented the illegal detention of a Georgian citizen near the village of Khurvaleti, the State Security Service told InterPressNews.

"On March 7, the police prevented the illegal detention of a Georgian citizen near the village of Khurvaleti.

The police stopped the representatives of the occupation forces. According to the established practice, through the hotline and EUMM, communication was established with the occupation forces and the situation was defused", the Sate Security Service told InterPressNews.
