Iago Khvichia: If Europeans cannot help us now, then Russians may come and madness may happen

"If the Europeans cannot help us now, then the Russians may come and madness may happen," said Iago Khvichia, one of the leaders of Girchi.

As he noted on PalitraNews in the context of the talks between the government and the opposition, more efforts of the country's partners are needed in the process.

According to Khvichia, the partners should change their tactics and shoul have the right to deliver a verdant.

"I at least expect that this person (Danielsson) is already convinced that he should not spend more time like he spent those 64 hours. The first part was an attempt to reconcile, the man talked for 64 hours to achieve something. The second part should be the judicial part. They should have the right to make a decision, deliver a verdict. I want our friends to allow themselves to have this right, as it will show who disagrees with the judicial decision. I think we should trust these people and call on them to come and help us, because if the Europeans do not help us now, then Russians may come and resolve our issue and madness will happen. So it would be nice if our friends put more efforts in this process. We will ask for it when we have this chance”, - said Iago Khvichia.

According to him, the main thing is the parties to reach an agreement during the negotiations with the participation of Christian Danielsson.

"Interesting processes are ahead, we will not easily give up. I know that, in general, there has been various doses of communication with all parties throughout this period and I am sure it still exists today. You know how many hours Mdinaradze and I have spent, but so far to in vain. However, we have not spent as many hours as Mr. Danielsson. 64 hours is too much. I think the most important thing is that we reach an agreement of some kind. We are ready for another 64 hours, everyone is ready for that, "Khvichia said.
