Public Movement Multinational Georgia (PMMG) continues the informing of society about the proceedings of the electoral reform  as well as the amendments to the electoral legislation

On 27 March, PMMG team met with regional media representatives and provided information about the proceedings of the electoral reform as well as the amendments to be made to the electoral legislation.

Media representatives from Kvemo Kartli, Samtskhe-Javakheti and Kakheti regions got acquainted with the proceedings of the electoral reform and obtained information with regard to the amendments to the electoral legislation drafted by the Parliamentary Working Group on Electoral Reform.

The meeting participants discussed the results of the elections monitoring program conducted by the PMMG as well as the recommendations elaborated and submitted by the organization to the Parliamentary Working Group on Electoral Reform.

PMMG offered its support to the media representatives with regard to the raising awareness of the local communities pertaining the amendments to the electoral legislation.

Since 8 February, PMMG is engaged in the works of the Parliamentary Working Group on Electoral Reform created for the purpose of elaboration of amendments to the electoral legislation.

On 11 March, PMMG conducted the first meeting with the CSOs working on minorities’ issues regarding the amendments to the electoral legislation.
