Occupied Abkhazia on the death of four people while crossing Enguri river: This tragic event became the subject of political speculation for Tbilisi

The so-called authorities of occupied Abkhazia are responding to the death of citizens crossing the occupation line through the Enguri river, accusing Tbilisi of political speculation.

"As expected, this tragic event in Georgia became the subject of hysteria and political speculation. Both the Georgian authorities and their political opponents are not worried about the death of the people, but are trying to show their false patriotism and once again attack Russia with absolutely baseless accusations", - reads the statement of the so-called ministry of foreign affairs of occupied Abkhazia.

The so-called ministry says that any attempt by Tbilisi to politicize the incident and get "cheap political dividends" by tragic death of people is unacceptable.

"The circumstances of the incident are being investigated by the law enforcement bodies of the republic of Abkhazia", - reports the so-called ministry.

For the record, two days ago in the village of Shamgona, rescuers recovered the bodies of four people from the river Enguri. According to the available information, they were crossing from the occupied Gali to the territory controlled by the Georgian government through the Enguri river, when they were hit by a sudden flooded river.
