According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, near the village of Namakhvani, the water level in Rioni exceeds the signal level, due to which they decided to remove the tents from the zone and move the citizens to a safer area.

"The search for the young man who went missing yesterday in vicinities of Namakhvani village is still in progress in the Rioni River and the surrounding areas.

According to the official hydrological data of the National Environment Agency, the water level of the Rioni River is above the signal level at this stage and given the current weather forecast, a significant increase in the water level is expected which may cause the river overflow and flood the surrounding areas.

Based on the above, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in order to avoid danger and protect the protesters' life and health, decided to remove the tents from the danger zone (in accordance with Article 26, Paragraph II of the Law of Georgia on Police) and move the citizens to a safer area.
