Nika Melia calls on his opposition colleagues not to compromise morally at the expense of his freedom

Nika Melia, Chairman of the United National Movement, called on his opposition colleagues not to compromise morally at the expense of his freedom.

"Now they have reached another height, now they say Melia must be in prison, in order to trade with my freedom. This is ruled out! I appeal to all my friends, fellow oppositionists, not to insult me and not to compromise moral freedom at the expense of my freedom and not to falsify history. If they want to release me, they can open the iron door of the prison like they did when they put me there.

They thought I would weaken in prison, but I strengthened. I did not pay bail and they are now caught in their own lies, now they are completely naked. You have to let me fight for the truth," Melia said.
