National Movement office damaged in Batumi

The office of the United National Movement has been damaged in Batumi. As Giorgi Kirtadze, a member of the United National Movement in Adjara, told InterpressNews, the incident took place late at night.

"Representatives of the criminal police are present at the scene and are examining the incident, but we do not expect anyone to be arrested. The door of our office on Agmashenebeli Street was damaged and windows were broken," Kirtadze said.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, an investigation has been launched under Article 187 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which pertains to the infliction of damage to or destruction of an item.
