Carl Hartzell: I think it is crucially important that the discussion taking place in the Parliament is now moving forward

“As we know there are currently two drafts in the Parliament for further consideration. I think it is crucially important that the discussion taking place in the Parliament is now moving forward”, - the EU Ambassador to Georgia Carl Hartzell said after meeting with the Speaker of Parliament Kakha Kuchava.

According to him, they had the opportunity to discuss together the agreement of April 19.

When asked if the EU was ready to pay bail for Nika Melia, the Ambassador said: “All these issues are now being discussed and we'll see how it will move forward in the coming days".

According to him, the implementation of this very important, crucial agreement will “then take us further to the reforms that are set out in this agreement.”
