"Dear members of the delegation, I am glad to welcome and host you in the Republic of Armenia. It is always a great honor and pleasure for us to meet with the Head of the Government of Georgia and discuss the agenda of cooperation between our two countries in a friendly atmosphere. The development of special good neighborly relations with Georgia plays a key role in Armenia's foreign policy. Our people of the two countries are intertwined with many threads, our centuries-old friendship, as well as the common values of democracy and the rule of law form the solid foundation on which the partnership of our two states is based. The Armenian community of Georgia, which has a centuries-old history, is the bridge that connects our two countries. We have a broad agenda for the dynamic development of cooperation. Today with Mr. Gharibashvili, we had the opportunity to continue the constructive dialogue with the Government of Georgia. We touched on the current state and development prospects of cooperation in transport, energy, economy and other important areas.

We decided to focus even more on trade and economic ties in our relations. We especially emphasized the need for more efficient use of regional transport and communication roads and development of transit potential. We also highlighted the development of technology. As always, we discussed the development of relations in the fields of education, science, culture. We shared our views in terms of fighting the epidemic. We touched on regional security issues. We have no doubt that the Armenian-Georgian partnership is one of the most important guarantees of stability in our region. Speaking of regional issues, I expressed my deep conviction that the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict should finally be resolved under the auspices of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs and on the basis of the principles proposed by them. I also believe that each conflict has its own peculiarities and that a balanced and constructive position on issues that are sensitive to each other is of great importance", - Nikol Pashinyan said.
