So-called President of occupied Abkhazia pays "official" visit to Syria

So-called President of occupied Abkhazia Aslan Bzhania is paying an "official" visit to Syria, - Sputnik-Abkhazia reports.

According to the agency, as part of the "visit", Bzhania will meet with Syrian leader Bashar al-Assad.

Bzhania is accompanied by the so-called Speaker of Parliament Valeri Kvarchia, so-called Head of the Presidential Administration Alkhas Kvitsinia, so-called First Deputy Prime Minister Beslan Jopua and several "Ministers".

Bashar al-Assad’s regime recognized the "independence" of Abkhazia and the Tskhinvali region in 2018.
