Head of Evaluation Service of National Enforcement Bureau of Ministry of Justice arrested on charges of bribery

Officers of the Anti-Corruption Agency of the State Security Service, as a result of operative-investigative actions, arrested the head of the Evaluation Service of the National Enforcement Bureau of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia on charges of bribery.

According to State Security Service, the investigation established that the head of the Evaluation Service demanded a bribe of $ 3,500 in exchange for suspending the eviction process for a period of six months.

The investigation is ongoing into the fact of taking a large amount of bribe, which is punished by seven to eleven years in prison.

The investigation is being conducted by the Anti-Corruption Agency of the State Security Service.
