Zaza Gakheladze's wife: We are planning rallies and then I will take extreme measures, this will be my last appeal to the state, I will cross the so-called border

The 100th meeting in the format of the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism started in Ergneti. Family members of Zaza Gakheladze, who is illegally detained in occupied Tskhinvali, are also present in Ergneti.

Before the meeting, Gakheladze's wife and parents met with the Deputy Director of the Information-Analytical Department of the SSG and the Deputy State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality.

"We did not really know what steps the government was taking, what was happening and what could be done, we did not interfere in it and they did not tell us, but we believed that real steps would be taken. One thing that is probably left and needs to be done is the family action, our efforts will probably get results. We are planning rallies and then I will take extreme measures, this will be my last appeal to the state, I will cross the so-called border", - said Irma Bunturi, Zaza Gakheladze 's wife.

Family members of Zaza Gakheladze are also planning to meet with OSCE Secretary General Helga Maria Schmidt in Ergneti today.
