Vladimir Putin and Joe Biden hold expanded bilateral talks

White House staffers say the expanded bilateral talks between Russia's Vladimir Putin and his US counterpart Joe Biden have come to an end.

However it's not clear if this is the end of this summit altogether, the BBC's Jon Sopel says.

Russia's Vladimir Putin and his US counterpart Joe Biden have met at a villa in Geneva.

It was their first meeting since Biden became president.

The White House has confirmed that the second round of talks has concluded.

The two are scheduled to hold separate press conferences shortly.
