Presidents of Moldova, Ukraine and the European Council to take part in Batumi International Conference today

The Presidents of Ukraine and Moldova will visit Georgia today. Together with the President of the European Council, Charles Michel, they will take part in the 17th Batumi International Conference - Enduring Power of Attraction – When the EU Makes Difference.

The Batumi International Conference will start today and will be held in a hybrid format.

The event will be opened by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Davit Zalkaliani. In addition, the opening session will be addressed by the President of Georgia, the Prime Minister of Georgia, the Presidents of Moldova, Ukraine and the European Council.

Within the framework of the Batumi International Conference, a discussion will be held on the topic: “New Transatlantic Agenda and Eastern Europe.” International experts will take part in the session. Topics such as challenges and opportunities in the Euro-Atlantic area, perspectives for the development of cooperation between traditional allies will be discussed.
