"Some people thought we had disappeared, lost, but no, friends, we are not going to disappear anywhere," Giorgi Gakharia, the founder of the For Georgia party, told reporters in Kobuleti, where he opened a party office.

As Gakharia noted, local elections have great importance.

"We will continue to work actively because we believe that these elections are not only of municipal importance. This election has another bigger importance. I am convinced that we must explain to our citizens the importance of this election, as well as how valuable their choice is," Gakharia said.
