Georgia reports 2,061 new cases of coronavirus, 23 deaths

According to stopcov.ge, as part of the intensive testing, 31,204 tests were conducted across the country in the last 24 hours, including 14,631 antigen tests and 16,573 PCR tests.

As a result of the testing, 2,061 new cases of coronavirus were detected in the last 24 hours. The total number of confirmed cases detected since the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country amounts to 402,759.

As of July 24, the daily positive rate is 6.6%, for the last 14 days - 5.66% and for 7 days - 6.3%. In the last 24 hours, 1,654 people recovered from the virus, bringing the total to 373,088. 23 new deaths from coronavirus were reported in the last 24 hours. A total of 5,688 people have died from the virus since the pandemic spread.

Out of 2,061 new cases of infection detected in the country today: 1,030 cases were reported in Tbilisi, Adjara - 299, Imereti - 190, Kvemo Kartli - 120, Shida Kartli - 62, Guria - 35, Samegrelo - Zemo Svaneti - 89, Kakheti - 128, Mtskheta- Mtianeti-62, Samtskhe-Javakheti - 41, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 5.
