Irakli Kobakhidze: Even if we get 3% like Lelo, there will be no early parliamentary elections

The issue of calling early elections will in no way depend on the outcome of the self-government elections - even if we get 3% like Lelo, there will be no early parliamentary elections, - Irakli Kobakhidze, the chairman of the Georgian Dream said.

As the party chairman noted, the ruling team is confident that it will repeat the results of the 2017 self-government elections.

"Whether there will be the second round or not, this will be decided by the society, there are 2 months left before the self-government elections and, consequently, there is a lot of time, therefore it would be wrong to make any predictions about the second round today, but we are sure that we will repeat the results of the 2017 self-government elections. I can confidently tell you that the issue of calling early elections will in no way depend on the outcome of the self-government elections. No matter of what we get - 93% or 3% like Lelo, we will not call early parliamentary elections," Kobakhidze said.
