Almost one year had passed since the implementation of joint product of Colliers and Mining and Mineral Solutions on the Georgian Market. The Company operating on behalf of the Colliers Georgia Mining and Minerals, offers the clients a wide range of services related to natural resources exploitation and environmental issues.

After identification of investment opportunities at separate sectors and analysis of primary information, the Company is cooperating with local and international investment groups supporting them in bringing their activities in line with the legislation of Georgia, technical-economic researches and investment risk analysis.

One year after the operation, there are plenty of successful projects related with the name of Colliers MMS Group. Geological and technical works in five municipalities of Georgia were performed by the support of the said Company for identification of perspective licensing areas; as the results of works performed the concerned companies have the increased access to the different types of natural resources.

Through the services of Colliers Georgia Mining and Minerals, the activities of the Company AMS engaged in extraction and processing of construction materials have been expanded thus creating the successful precedent for increasing the production capacity. With the support of the Colliers MMS Group, the Company has examined its own ores and reserves and triplicating the capacity of resources, that is directly proportional to the profitability and gain of the enterprise.

One-year successful start seems not to be enough for the Company and it continues its proactive activities. At this stage, Colliers MMS Group is providing the preliminary researches to several multinational companies, considering entering the Georgian market. Mining organization with good reputation and technical experience are amongst the companies, at the same time such companies will positively affect the growth of direct foreign investments and further development of the industry.

Alongside with consultation services, inactive license management model was implemented and developed by the Colliers MMS Group, implying the effective management of so-called “out-of-work” ores. Currently, five private deposits of exploitable minerals (limestone, tuff, granite, inert materials) and underground waters are included into the portfolio of the company. It is planned to identify the analogue deposits and their further alienation/utilization to differently concerned groups.

In addition to the mining industry, the Company also provides high-qualified service on environmental issues. In the terms of the mentioned service, the Affiliate Company of one of the leaders – “Zodi” Group, the LLC “Limestone” engaged in Georgian limestone mining and further export to foreign markets with latest technical approaches and minimal impact on the environment, is one of the clients of the Colliers MMS.

#GreenConsulting Service includes the wide range of environmental research studies: environmental impact research, environmental audit / performance analysis, environmental management and rehabilitation solutions, governing law and legislative compliance, waste management solutions.
