"Eight people survived, their lives are not in danger, and eight people died. The bodies of the deceased are probably on the bottom of Lake Kuril", - the source told the agency.

A helicopter belonging to the company "Vitiaz-Aero" crashed this morning. According to preliminary information, there were three crew members and 13 tourists on board. A source from the Transport Supervision Service told Interfax that the cause of the accident may have been a strong fog. A criminal case has been launched on the fact of the helicopter crash.
