In the face of increasing pressure from the Russian Federation, we have always felt the support of Georgia, which is now very valuable and, - said Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal at a joint press conference with Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili.

Denis Shmigal thanked the Prime Minister of Georgia for his unwavering support for Ukraine's territorial integrity and sovereignty.

"The official visit of the Prime Minister of Georgia Mr. Irakli Gharibashvili will give us an opportunity to focus on discussing our practical steps to intensify strategic cooperation between our countries.

Today we had the opportunity to discuss all aspects of Georgian-Ukrainian relations, in terms of security, foreign policy, as well as trade and economic cooperation.

I would like to thank Georgia for its unwavering support for Ukraine's territorial integrity and sovereignty, for its non-recognition of Russia's illegal annexation of Crimea, for its condemnation of Russia's aggression on the Donbas, and for its active position on human rights record in the temporarily occupied territories.

In the face of increased pressure from the Russian Federation, we have always felt the support of Georgia, which is now very valuable and, against the background of Ukraine launching a new format of resistance - the Crimean platform. I am confident that Georgia's participation in the Crimean Platform Summit will enable us to draw the attention of the international community to the need for consolidated efforts to de-occupy the Georgian territories, Abkhazia, the Tskhinvali region/South Ossetia", - Denys Shmyhal said.
