Mikheil Saakashvili: Now we must protect votes!

Former President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili responds to the results of the Ipsos exit poll conducted and says that now we must protect votes.

"Tbilisi! Now we have to protect votes during counting!" - Mikheil Saakashvili wrote on Facebook and shared the results of the Ipsos poll.

According to the exit polls conducted by Ipsos, the preliminary results of parties in the self-government elections are as follows:

Georgian Dream - 38.6%

National Movement - 33%

Giorgi Gakharia's For Georgia - 7.6%

Girchi - For More Freedom - 4.8%

Lelo - 4%

European Georgia - 1%

As for the mayoral elections in Tbilisi, according to the exit polls conducted by the organization, none of the candidates received 50% support, which means that there will be a second round.

In particular, the votes were distributed among the candidates as follows:

Georgian Dream, Kakha Kaladze - 40.2%

National Movement and part of the opposition, Nika Melia - 40.8%

For Georgia, Giorgi Gakharia - 8.7%

The results reflect the data available by 17:00. More than 2 thousand people were interviewed.
