The Ministry of Justice addresses the Minister of Health, Ekaterine Tikaradze, to allocate a multifunctional group of doctors to study and analyze the health condition of Mikheil Saakashvili.

According to the statement issued by the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry also requests cooperation with the Public Defender.

"Our goal is for the public to have complete, comprehensive and objective information about the rights situation and health of convicted/accused Mikheil Saakashvili. We request Mikheil Sarjveladze, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Human Rights and Civil Integration, and Dimitri Khundadze, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Health and Social Affairs, to monitor the protection of prisoner's rights for greater transparency of the process;

We request cooperation from Public Defender Nino Lomjaria;

We also requested Minister of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labor, Health and Social Affairs Ekaterine Tikaradze to set up a multifunctional group of doctors to study and analyze the health condition of the prisoner. The goal of the group of doctors will be to periodically monitor the health condition of Mikheil Saakashvili and, if necessary, to make relevant recommendations,” reads the statement.
