Ukrainian diplomats are in constant contact with former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili, who is in pre-trial detention, - said Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, according to Ukrainskaya Pravda.

"We are in constant contact with Mikheil Saakashvili, lawyers have access to him, the consul has unimpeded access", - Kuleba said.

According to Ukrainian FM, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is currently studying the legal side of the case and is considering the algorithms to be used.

"I emphasize once again that Saakashvili is a citizen of Ukraine and we do not leave our citizens in trouble abroad. Therefore, when we decide how to act, and it can be other than just extradition, we will provide you with information", - Kuleba said.
