According to the Minister of Justice of Georgia Rati Bregadze, the third President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili receives food and natural juices.

As Bregadze stated on Rustavi 2, Saakashvili receives various types of porridge.

"Mikheil Saakashvili bought certain products two days after receiving a bank card while entering the prison. He subsequently refused to take these foods, but after some time agreed again and voluntarily received both porridge and natural juices. He continues to take the medications prescribed by the doctors. Each of our words is supported by evidence and facts, we speak only based on facts,” said Rati Bregadze.

According to him, Saakashvili's lawyers are spreading false information, but based on the information verified with doctors, it can be said that his health condition is stable.

"These people are spreading false information about the penitentiary institution and trying to mislead the public. Apart from Saakashvili, there are other prisoners in this facility and they have family members who are worried about this information. Saakashvili's health condition should be discussed by doctors, not lawyers. Based on the information verified with doctors, I can tell you that his health condition is stable and within the norm," - said Rati Bregadze.
